Tina Elkins

Dr. Tina Elkins joined the FIGHTERJETS, INC. team in 2022 when 1611 was in her off season. She was able to learn the intricacies of the MiG from Randy and the team, actively participating in the engine replacement. When she is not at the hangar, she is a head and neck surgeon, therefore she can relate to working on the systems of the jet as she would in surgery. One of the highlights of working at the hangar is working alongside and learning from her dad, Bill Peikert, a former jet engine mechanic with the Air Force during Vietnam. The stories of his service flow while he is working!

Over the 2023 airshow season Dr. Elkins began coordinating and planning the airshow season with some great venues and people! She is also working with media outlets helping promote Randy and the FIGHTERJETS team at their home hangar and at airshows. Tina looks forward to the coming seasons for the FIGHTERJETS INC team!
