Inspiring the Next Generation Through the Power of Flight
FighterJets Inc. brings more than 36 years of airshow and military contracting experience directly to students through a hands-on aviation STEM program designed to spark curiosity, build capability, and connect classroom learning to the real world of high-performance jet aviation.
From afterburning MiG-17s to historic Vietnam-era aircraft operated through our partnership with the Collings Foundation and Vietnam War Flight Museum, FighterJets Inc. offers a unique, immersive educational experience that no other program can match.
Bringing STEM to life – Powered by Real Jets
Our STEM curriculum is built around the same aircraft we fly at airshows across the nation. Students explore the science and engineering that make high-speed flight possible, including:
- Forces of Flight: Lift, weight, thrust, and drag—explained with real jet examples.
- Jet Engines & Afterburners: How modern turbines create massive thrust and what happens inside an afterburning MiG-17.
- Speed, G-Forces & Aerodynamics: What pilots experience in high-performance maneuvers.
- Engineering & Aircraft Maintenance: How our teams keep Cold War and Vietnam-era jets flying safely today.
- Aviation Careers: Pilots, engineers, mechanics, designers, safety officers, crew chiefs, and more.
By linking classroom principles to real aircraft and real missions, students gain a deeper understanding of how STEM drives modern aviation.
